4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers: cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics, email delivery, and customer support vendors operating on our behalf under written confidentiality obligations.

- With your consent: for any purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection.
5. Shop & Customer Data
When a shop uses AutoShop Pro to manage its customers' repair records, the shop is the controller of that customer data and AutoShop Pro acts as a processor. The shop is responsible for:
- Providing appropriate notices and obtaining any required consents from its customers.
- Managing access permissions for its technicians, service advisors, and administrators.
- Responding to requests from its customers to access, correct, or delete their data.
Where a shop's customer contacts us directly, we will refer them to the shop unless otherwise required by law.
6. Data Security
We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, role-based access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work hard to minimize risk.
7. Data Retention
We retain account data for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request export or deletion of your shop data by contacting us at privacy@yourautoshop.pro. Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days after deletion.

- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Opt out of marketing communications.
